Southeastern Regional Meeting – April 3-4, 2009

Dear ETS, EMS, and EPS members:

Greetings - in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ - from Temple Baptist Seminary (A Graduate Division of Tennessee Temple University), located in Chattanooga, TN – the Buckle of the Bible Belt! We are honored to host the 2009 Southeastern Regional meeting of the Evangelical Theological Society on April 3-4, 2009, here at Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, TN. The theme for the meetings is: "Biblical Exposition: From Text & Translation to Communication & Contextualization." We are most privileged to have Dr. James D. Price, Professor of Old Testament and Hebrew, Retired, Temple Baptist Seminary, as our primary speaker. Dr. Price will speak in all plenary sessions, addressing the topics of “Textual Criticism: A Genealogical Model," “Textual Translation: An Optimal Equivalence Model,” and "Textual Exposition: A Discourse Analysis Model."

Cost


The cost of the conference is $40 for professionals and $20 for students. This price includes the banquet meal, which will consist of : Sliced Sirloin of Beef w/ Mushroom Sauce OR Apple Almond Chicken w/ Apple Glaze (Grilled & Glazed Chicken Breast over apple-almond dressing), Roasted Red Skin Potatoes, Seasonal Fresh Vegetable Medley, Green Beans Almandine, Apple Pie *includes - bread, side salad, tea, water & coffee. A Vegetarian Plate selection will also be available. Make selections below.
